Loganair renews contract with Evoke for EFOS Training and Leave Management solutions

We are delighted to be selected again as Loganair‘s preferred provider for both their EFOS Training and Leave Management solutions.

Evoke’s Co-Founder & CEO, Dr Craig Howard said ‘We take immense pride in being chosen as Loganair’s partner of choice and for their continued trust in our EFOS products. The renewed contract demonstrates their confidence in our team, our excellent support services, and the significant value and benefits that our industry-leading solutions deliver’.

The EFOS TMS manages the complex training operations for Loganair’s multiple aircraft types across its current fleet for pilots and cabin crew. We look forward to optimising their training operations further as we embark upon rolling out more enhancements to their users and supporting their future training requirements as they transition to a new generation of ATR aircraft.

Captain Ronan Milne, Head of Training said: ‘After using EFOS for many years we are thrilled to have extended our contract with Evoke for at least another five years. EFOS allows us to manage both our Pilot and Cabin Crew training records efficiently and accurately, making sure that we can maintain and even exceed regulatory requirements with relative ease. It ensures that our extensive group of Cabin and Flight Crew Trainers and Examiners have the right information at their fingertips so they can deliver the best quality training to our Pilots and Cabin Crew’.

Evoke’s innovative EFOS Leave Management system was originally designed to reduce the heavy-administration around leave-booking and liberate airlines from the burden of using outdated manual methods like paper and spreadsheets. The revolutionary system with sophisticated automation is capable of processing thousands of leave requests within a matter of minutes. By giving crew increased visibility around the emotive topic of leave-bidding EFOS has enabled the successful democratisation of the entire leave management process. Furthermore, the ability for crew to effortlessly book, amend and cancel their leave via one easy to use platform, giving them rapid responses to their requests has greatly improved morale.

Pamela Redpath, Operations System Analyst, said: ‘We originally implemented EFOS Leave in 2018 to manage our crew annual leave, as previously this was all managed on multiple spreadsheets and calculated manually.  We found the transition to be very easy with great support from the Evoke team. Since the implementation of EFOS Leave both the crew and the planning team have found it really beneficial and user friendly’.

With this renewed long-term agreement, Loganair’s crew will be well-equipped to tackle future challenges, leveraging the extensive capabilities of our EFOS solutions to help them achieve their ambitious goals.

Product implemented

Before EFOS

Air Malta was struggling with a leave management process that was highly complex and labour intensive. Each leave request had to be processed manually, which meant pilots and cabin crew were forced to wait a long time to get confirmation of their leave.

After EFOS

EFOS Leave replicated the airline’s custom validation rules in the new digital platform. This made the transition smoother, as these rules were already accepted by both union representatives and crew members.

What they said

“The project was delivered very swiftly, enabling Air Malta’s team to quickly realise the benefits of the new software. The team at Evoke were committed and totally onboard for this project. The system was easy to understand, and help was always found along the project.”
