We are thrilled to have welcomed 5 new team members to the Evoke family over the past few weeks.
Introducing our 5 newest team members!
Tim has joined as a Senior Developer. He has been involved in the IT world for nearly 30 years, and like many in Norfolk began his career as a Turbo Pascal computer programmer at Norwich Union, now known as Aviva, distributing life insurance quotation products to branches on floppy disks.
Since then he has mainly worked with Microsoft based development in a wide variety of industries, with roles in 2 of the Big 4 Accountancy firms in The City, HMRC, Daily Mail Group Trust and Formula One!
In his spare time, Tim can be found undertaking a lot of volunteer work! He is the Deputy Chair of the Norfolk Blood Bikes Charity where he volunteers as a controller and rider and is also a Tutor and Chair of the local RoSPA advanced motorcycling group.
Jason has joined the team as Service Desk Supervisor and will be in charge of running the Evoke helpdesk. His role is to drive forward the Customer Service proposition and level of support we provide to our clients. He has over 13 years experience in Customer Service Software Support and IT.
Jason said “I always put our Customers at the forefront of the service I provide to ensure you receive the service I would want to receive myself. I have spent the last 8 years providing support and running Service Desks within the Fintech and SaaS space.”
When not at work, while he would love some time to spend on some of Norfolk’s beautiful golf courses, he is kept occupied chasing around after his two small children!
Craig has stepped into the role of Senior Mobile Developer and will be responsible for our wonderful iPad application!
He began his development career after graduating from University in 2012, and hasn’t looked back since! He has benefitted from a wide range of experiences, including working in fast-paced start-ups through to established businesses and large corporations. He has had good exposure to different industries, all of which come with different customer problems to solve! With this knowledge, Craig has developed a finite range of skills, and contributes to regular, highly successful deliveries to customers with efficiency and quality.
James has joined Evoke as Product Manager. He has a proven record of designing, delivering and supporting disruptive SaaS products within the e-commerce and martech space. He loves getting a deep understanding of the customer and their pain points, taking that pain away through translating these pains into actionable opportunities in the form of technology solutions.
He thrives off solving customer problems which directly impacts, also creating award-winning technical companies. Along with his colleagues he has been awarded the Sunday Times Top Tech 100 3 times; once with ServiceTick in 2015 and twice with Decibel in 2019 and 2020.
In his spare time James enjoys reading, boardgames, car tuning and restoration, watching movies, walking and bushcraft. He is always working on personal improvement, with reading inspired by Marty Cagen and Simon Sinek (his secret man crush!)
Calum has joined the team as a Business Analyst, and will be assisting our other lovely BA’s with some very exciting project work we have coming up! Calum began his career after graduating from University in 2015, and has previously worked as a Business Analyst for Marsh.
A very accomplished rower, Calum loves being on the water, and was previously Joint Lead Coach for the Junior 14 rowing squad at Norwich School.
Enthusiastic and outgoing, Calum will be an excellent addition to our wonderful Business Analyst team!
